With the Mares Apnea Swim Cap, not only will you look good during training, but you’ll also keep your hair in check when putting on or taking off your Open-Cell wetsuit.
The Mares Apnea Swim Cap is made of silicone and features the inscription “Freediving Passion” along with the Mares logo.
My tip: If you have long hair, I recommend wearing a swim cap when putting on your Open-Cell wetsuit. Make sure all your hair is tucked under the cap and moisten it with some shampoo water. This will allow the suit’s neck to glide smoothly over your head, preventing painful pulling on your scalp. Whether you keep the cap on during the dive is up to you, but it will help prevent hair from getting into your mask and causing leaks. When removing the jacket of the Open-Cell suit, it’s also a good idea to put the swim cap back on.
