When you go on a diving vacation, especially by plane, the question quickly arises: How do you transport your delicate carbon fins without damaging them? The hard case for freediving fins offers you the perfect solution to ensure your gear arrives safely at your dream destination.

With dimensions of 120x23x13 cm, this hard case provides ample space for up to two pairs of long freediving fins. Made from durable plastic, it protects your fins from external impacts, particularly from the usual handling of luggage at the airport. The case ensures that your fins remain in perfect condition, with no risk of breakage or damage.

Transporting carbon fins can be tricky: they don’t easily fit into a regular suitcase. Dismantling them is often not an option, as it is not only cumbersome but also requires tools like a screwdriver, which also need to be packed. The fins are generally too long for hand luggage, and you risk having them taken away at the gate and placed unprotected in the cargo hold, which could cause serious damage.

The hard case for freediving fins elegantly solves all these problems. You can safely pack your fins in the case, which also provides space for additional gear. You can then check in the case as a second piece of luggage. Most airlines allow you to check in two pieces of luggage as long as the total weight does not exceed 20-25 kg. It’s advisable to check with your airline in advance to ensure everything goes smoothly.

With this case, you can travel worry-free, knowing that your gear is well protected, allowing you to focus entirely on your diving vacation. Prepare for your next adventure and invest in the protection that your freediving fins deserve!

My tip: Some airlines charge an extra fee (I’ve paid up to 100 CHF per way!) for sports equipment (diving bags, golf bags, etc.). If asked at check-in whether your hard case for freediving fins contains sports gear, just say: “No, it’s just my swimwear in there!”
