My tip: If you attach a 500 g or 1 kg weight to the end of the line, you can tuck it into the back of your weight belt. You will feel the pressure of the weight and know that you are still dragging the buoy behind you. If you want to explore an area more closely, let the weight sink to the bottom and use the line as a visual reference to dive and ascend vertically.
