PADI Freediving Courses
I teach the following PADI courses:
PADI Basic Freediver This course teaches the theoretical knowledge of freediving and practical experience in the pool (static and dynamic). This course can also be taken as part of a PADI Freediver course and is then simply participation on the first day.
PADI Freediver This course teaches the theoretical knowledge of freediving and the practical experience in the pool (static and dynamic) and in open water (constant weight and free immersion).
PADI Freediver Upgrade If you have completed the PADI Basic Freediver course, you can complete the open water part within 6 months. If you complete all the skills, you will be certified as a PADI Freediver and then have two certifications. For this reason, the PADI Basic Freediver and the PADI Freediver Upgrade course together cost slightly more than the PADI Freediver course.
PADI Advanced Freediver This course teaches the theoretical knowledge of advanced freediving and the practical experience in the pool (static and dynamic) and in open water (constant weight and free immersion). This course is recommended for freedivers who, after about 1 year of training, want to expand their skills and theoretical knowledge to overcome the barrier at about 20m.
PADI Life Saving Courses
PADI Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care This course teaches the theoretical knowledge of first aid and the practical experience of providing first aid to patients by lay rescuers.
Care For Children This course provides theoretical knowledge of first aid and practical experience in the first aid of babies and children by lay helpers.
CPR & AED This course provides theoretical knowledge of first aid and practical experience in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of a defibrillator on patients by lay rescuers.
Emergency Oxygen Provider. This course provides theoretical knowledge of first aid and practical experience in the application of pure oxygen to patients by lay rescuers.
PADI Distinctive Specialty Courses
In addition to the standard PADI courses, I offer the following PADI Distinctive Freediving Speciality courses. These courses have been developed by me, tested by PADI, and I can now offer and certify them under the PADI label:
Learn how to dive in the pool with the monofin. Glide almost endlessly after one or two strokes with your monofin. Learn exercises to optimise your core muscles and mobility for diving with the monofin. Use of a silicon monofin is included in the course fee.
Take your monofin skills to the next level in the open water. Learn how to move elegantly and with little force into the deep with the monofin. Enjoy the climb with the long gliding phases of the monofin. Use of a silicon monofin is included in the course fee.
PADI Dynamic No-Fins (DNF) Freediver
The most primal form of underwater movement: Almost without gear, just wearing a mask or nose clip/goggles and your swimwear, you'll move underwater lane by lane. Dive anytime, anywhere with Dynamic No-Fins.
PADI Constant No-Fins (CNF) Freediver
Once you've mastered Dynamic No-Fins, it's time for the ultimate Constant No-Fins adventure. Learn to dive in the open water without fins and with nosecllip/fluid goggles.
