Less drag

Using a thin but durable belt drastically reduces drag during freefall: polyester with aviation-grade weaving, only 1 mm thick but capable of withstanding over 500 kg loads. The material is soft and pleasant to the touch. The carabiner cable, only 3 mm in diameter, further reduces drag significantly.

Perfect positioning

A simple yet effective fastening system between the legs ensures that the belt does not ride up your waist during freefall when your wetsuit compresses. The «AUTOLOCK» system does not require excessive tension on the elastic band, keeping the belt comfortably and securely in place without friction between the legs.

Adjustable size

Both the front and back buckles can be adjusted precisely to your body shape. The elastic band can be cut to the correct length after testing it on your body.

My tip: The Octopus CNF Lanyard works perfectly in tropical waters or at Y-40 where no weight belt is needed. When used together with a weight belt, ensure that you or a safety diver can quickly release the weight belt in case of emergency.
