PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary and Secondary Care Course

The PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary and Secondary Care course is designed for both divers and non-divers alike.

The course is recognized by the SRC (Swiss Resuscitation Council) at the BLS-AED-SRC Complete (Generic Provider) level, as required for first responders in workplaces in Switzerland. SRC (Swiss Resuscitation Council). PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary and Secondary Care not only meets but exceeds the requirements of the Swiss First Aid Association (SRC / Swiss Resuscitation Council).

Why should I take a PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) course?

How long has it been since you last took a first aid course? Do you know how to use a defibrillator (AED)? Do you know what to do if a family member on a hike, a colleague at work, or a friend during sports has an emergency?

Why is the EFR course important for SCUBA divers and freedivers?

Are you a freediver or SCUBA diver? Do you want to take the next step in your diving career? As divers, we put our bodies under significant strain and are often in locations where professional help may be delayed. How would you respond if your freediving buddy or a passerby complained of chest pain and collapsed unconscious? Learn in this course how to provide the best possible assistance in such situations. Your actions may not be perfect, but they might be the only help a friend can receive in an emergency. Your assistance is better than the best help that is never given!

Duration

  • Self-study: 2-4 hours
