My tip: Dyneema belongs in every spearfisherman's toolbox. Not only do you need Dyneema to connect harpoons with spools to the spear, but also to tie off rubber bands or to attach the knife to the sheath (otherwise it is guaranteed to get lost on the first dive). Always melt the ends of Dyneema with a lighter to prevent the threads from unraveling. The thickening also prevents the rope end from slipping through a knot.
