The Squid Pro Neck Weight is a versatile weight system with an adjustable weight variation from 0.8 to 1.3 kg for different disciplines and diving conditions. It comfortably surrounds the neck of the freediver in open water dives. Unlike traditional neck weights, such as bicycle tubes filled with lead shot, the Squid Weight avoids unpleasant knocks against the chin or back of the head during the duck dive, descent, or turn. Instead, it offers a comfortable fit and is securely fixed below the jaw, providing a comfortable and stable hold.
The Squid Neck Weight can be easily adjusted to different neck diameters: In tests with over 200 freedivers, it perfectly fitted more than 95% of the divers. For added safety, the kit contains a cord to secure the Squid Pro Neck Weight. The cord is magnetically fixed by a clever mechanism.
