Shock Cord elastic connector

If your speargun does not have a reel, attach the end of the monofilament to the eyelet at the end of the barrel. Use a Shock Cord elastic connector for this. The component has two functions:

• it absorbs the energy if the spear misses its target and thus prevents the spear from rebounding
• it keeps the line taut and prevents it from coming loose from the weapon

When "rigging" your speargun, put some tension on the monofilament using the Shock Cord elastic connector. This holds your line securely to the spear and weapon.

Thanks to the clasp, you can easily detach the arrow from the weapon or simply untangle a tangled string.

Whether you prefer a pigtail or a snap clip is a matter of preference. I personally prefer the snap clip.
